Aaron Kloss
In second grade, I attended my first art class. After that first day in class, I had decided what I wanted to do with my life, and that was to be an artist. After graduating from Wayzata high school in 1993, I majored in art at North Hennepin Community College, and finished my Bachelors in Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I’ve worked full time in the art field since 1995, pursuing my passions while never forgetting that little kid that loved art class so much in grade school.
Artist Statement:
I paint from memory, sharing my experiences visually through contemporary landscapes. My distinctive technique consists of a singular brushstroke in vivid color on black canvas. Just as the light shines in the darkness, my work reveals the effects of light and darkness in the landscape, capturing the emotion of the memory while sharing a story.
