Love of animals makes us better people somehow. I find inspiration in the beauty and grace of horses, the animated cuteness of birds, and the wild spirit of wolves. A lifelong artist, when I began to sculpt in clay I discovered my true passion, animal sculpture!
Everything I create begins with a simple lump of clay. Each design comes from my original drawings, Then magically my fingers coax little birds, wolves and horses out of the "mud"! Since they are hand made by me, each one will be a little different from the one before.
Each piece is made by me in my home studio in Morganton, NC. I share my work space with my two tuxedo studio cats, Sam and Max.
