Rebecca Zhukov

Rebecca's glass sculptures have been chosen for juried shows across the country. She won First Prize in the Glass Category at New York City's Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit and Best of Show for her bird nest sculpture at the Old Saybrook Fine Art and Craft Fair.

Her work has appeared at the White House, in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, the San Francisco Museum of Art, The American Crafts Museum in New York City, the de Young Fine Arts Museum, The Columbus Art Museum and the Detroit Institute of Art. Over 4oo national retail outlets, including Nordstrom, Barney's and Neiman-Marcus, have sold her work.

Rebecca graduated from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, where she received Divisional Honors for her Senior BFA Exhibition. Subsequently, she pursued her studies with distinguished artists Curtiss Brock, Jan Mares, Richard Ritter, Rob Levin and Richard Jolley. She continued her studios at the Pilchuck School of Glass, Penland School of Crafts and Urban Glass in Brooklyn, NY. She was an assistant to Richard Jolley before opening her first glass studio in Sea Cliff, NY in 1993.
